Crystalline
Future
Shortly
after the beginning of the second millennium of the Common Era, an enormous
fleet of space ships appeared in the skies of Earth. They were the conquering military of the
Empire Galactica, Galaxia’s minions.
They did not know that Sailor Moon had redeemed their evil empress. They simply saw the Sol System as another
jewel to add to a wide-strewn empire. As
the people of Earth, led by the desperate militaries of NATO, fought off the
invaders, Sailor Moon and her friends tried to defend their homes and families. After a long struggle that resulted in over
half of the world’s population being either killed or taken prisoner by the
Galacticans, Serena Tsukino permanently assumed the mantle of NeoQueen
Serenity. With the full backing of all
nine Sailor Scouts, she used the power of the Silver Imperium Crystal to call
the Great Ice. With their prize wrapped
in impenetrable ice and magic, the massive fleet left the Sol System to
discover that as Sailor Galaxia returned the missing starseeds to their proper
planets, the Empire Galactica was collapsing as the renewed power and hope of
the planets led them to rebel.
Unknowing,
safe behind Serenity’s magic, the Earth slept for five hundred years. Her people and plants and animals held in
stasis by the power of the Silver Crystal.
Finally, the spell lost its hold and mankind awakened to a world where
magic was an acknowledged force; a world where anything was possible and the
old certainties were ripped away.
The
year is 2703 C.E. It has been two
hundred years since the time of the Great Ice.
Humanity is still recovering from the devastating battles of the war
with Galaxia’s empire. Some nations,
such as Crystal Japan and the

this Chamber, you shall find tales of this Crystalline Future. Whether the gleaming towers shall remain or
be shattered, only Time can tell.
